“Not visible to the naked eye, but firmly visible to the open heart, is a gossamer thin web of golden energy threads interlinking us to all of life, as if we are surrounded by a field of newly opened springtime blossoms abuzz with bees or enveloped in a wood dotted with fireflies or woven into a multi-hued tapestry with luminescent thread. Our thoughts are part of this 3 dimensional sacred fresco. Every seemingly inconsequential thing that we do matters immensely, every thought, word and emotion contribute to this nonjudgemental inter-dimensional tessellation.
Earrings are fabricated and enameled and imagery is from a centuries-old playing/divination card. A single image is divided into 2 parts, each an individual earring, with the inner light of earth-hued garnets mirroring the reflections of the traditional pearls described in the Buddhist story of Indra’s net. A layer of under-fired enamel adds texture and a graininess that sets the image outside of time.” – Kim Nogueira
