The Ocean Series
I have always been fascinated with the ocean, the waves , sea creatures and the sea shells, “sea treasures” that are found on the shore. Although I cannot swim I thoroughly enjoy the waves lapping by my feet along with the refreshing ocean breeze, finding seashells and hidden treasures in the sand.The sight and rhythm of rolling waves is part of my attraction with the ocean.The potential for treacherous, engulfing and dangerous ocean waves remind me of the continuous waves of Covid 19. These waves are the inspiration for my jewelry made for “Upended Lives: Jewelry in the Age of Covid.
