As the pandamic is raging around the world, I am “stuck” in my atelier in the beautiful countryside of Western Norway. I watch TV and read the news to know what is going on in other places, but it all looks so far away. I feel like being in a cocoon, not knowing when I can come out again and fly away to my family and jewelry friends.
I often use animals in my work, and it was obvious to use the bat this time. Although not entirely sure, this animal could be the one sending this infectious virus into our world. Off course we can blame ourselves for that.
