“The figure inside the bunker is cowering down, safely locked in with his own fears and anxieties in the symbolic form of an oppressive sphere. A pipeline to the outside world keeps him connected to all he is hiding from.
The figure and the sphere inside the bunker are cast sterling silver. The bunker is fabricated using sterling silver that has been reticulated (heated until the surface just begins to melt). The ring stand is sterling silver tubing and sheet” – Jim Bove
