Description
An act of creating, by fragmenting, by destroying an existing shape first, and then carefully, step by step, rearranging these fragments and introducing them to a new order, each with its distinct shape – a new Jewellery piece, is at the shared core of these two pieces. Although belonging to two different series, both are manifestation of this process. Re-introducing order to chaos, identifying in the uncertainty a potential for becoming, turning the ‘uncertainty’ into a meaningful structure has given me comfort and a much needed grounding during these tumultuous times brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
